Organization Change Management (OCM)
Organizational Change Management (OCM) is a framework for managing the effect of new business processes, changes in organizational structure or cultural changes within an enterprise. Simply put, OCM addresses the people side of change management. Remember, ERP benefits realization depends on people, not technology.
Dana Systems provides a customized OCM approach specifically designed to match the organizational needs of each customer in order to deliver the most effective results. Starting with a full understanding of the current state of the organization, Dana System works with customers to design and communicate an action plan, collect and analyze baseline information, conduct risk assessments, develop implementation plans, and evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of the change implementation.
ERP Assessment and Audit
ERP is a set of tools most of us use every day to help our organizations accomplish whatever their particular goals are. Is your helping you to be more effective and efficient? Are you using the system properly? These are some of the questions an ERP audit should answer. Auditing an ERP system is essential for gaining control over access and information integrity. Security audits protect the system from intrusions and criminal behavior that can be destructive. The system owner has the obligation to his users to control access and verify system integrity. Audits are a critical tool for the system owner to establish a level of documentation for the enterprise-level piece of software.
From an internal audit perspective, enterprise systems have created new opportunities and challenges in managing internal as well as external risks. In this work, we report results of a survey that examines internal auditors’ ability to identify and manage operational, financial, technological, compliance and other risks as the organization migrates to an ERP environment. Our findings show that the internal auditors perceive a reduction in financial and operational risk and an increase in technical risks. These effects are somewhat mitigated by their ability to assess and manage these risks.
